Khethi is a young South African singer/songwriter who blends hip hop with African soul and jazzy blues notes, creating her own form on ‘Afro-Soul-Jazz’. Khethi brings her social activist toolbox along to create songs for upliftment and awareness. Khethi has a strong connection to the vinspired Lake of Stars, having performed in 2006. Her debut album ‘Exemplify’, partly produced by Malawi’s own Q Malewezi and is released in October, just in time for the festival.
