Here is some valuable information for all festival goers.
There has been a huge crack down on bureau de change outlets in Malawi . Therefore finding options to exchange foreign currencies is a bit challenging.
As ATM’s are not always stocked with sufficient funds. So my suggestion is, that you come prepared with US$ or GBP in cash to tie you over for the first couple of days. Banks will be able to assist you with exchanging cash, it is easier and quicker.
If you catching Ulendo scheduled bus, from Lilongwe on the day you arrive just make sure you have your cash readily available.
The LOS event site is really take shape. The stage is being constructed, security is in place. Really Nkopola Lodge is really beginning to buzz.
The noise around Malawi is getting louder, about Lake of Stars .
