Lake of Stars are always looking for fresh new talent and we're just as excited to be making new friends as we are to welcome people back. This year alone we've helped oversee the rise of burgeoning stars Tinashe and Afrikan Boy. Both artists began their relationship with us at one of our London gigs and eventually found their way to Malawi at the festival where they received rapturous applause followed by media coverage.Carrying on with our mission we bring you Stina & The Soldiers, whose unique sound has ensured they are quickly becoming one of London's most exciting unsigned acoustic acts. Before joining her band of talented musicians, Stina played at venues across London gaining a nomination for an Indy Music Award in late 2008.
